I'm not actively promoting this site, so if you've arrived here, you've probably already seen my resume. Feel free to click through some of my previous work presented below, much of which appears exactly as it did when first created, others reimagined due to lost files and crashed drives. Should you find anything here that may indicate I may be able to assist you with your next project, please don't hesitate to contact me. Best regards - Brad Holland.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design from the Bendigo College of Advanced Education (now La Trobe University). During my studies, I focused on advertising and marketing concepts, credentials I continue to build on as these fields are constantly evolving. You never really stop learning.
For me, the concept is key. From there I write headlines and body copy, making the idea real through Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, skills I remain focused on continually growing. I'm also proficient with content management systems such as Shopify, Wordpress and the associated value adding plug ins and widgets.
From design studios to advertising agencies, from the hospitality industry to operating my own businesses, I feel I bring an extremely broad and eclectic range of experience to any challenge put before me. I truly enjoy creating unique, functional designs aimed to inform, entertain, engage and get results.
I set myself a little challenge with this site, I wanted to see what I might create without a budget. I was charged $8.98 by Go Daddy for the domain which gave me access to their free web builder. Free portfolio widgets from Elfsight provided the layout for my projects. It's still a little clunky, it's not quite what I may have designed for myself, but it is functional and proves that substantial budgets are not always required to achieve satisfactory working solutions.
